The Memory of Nations Theatre has prepared the sixth edition of its regular theatre series \u201cWe Are Memory.\u201d The aim is to present original performances from a young generation of artists, thematically based on the real stories of eyewitnesses recorded by Post Bellum documentarians and to connect art students with already integrated professional artists. <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

This year's Prague production, entitled \u201cLuck,\u201d was directed by Tamara Pomori\u0161ki, artistic director of the Memory of Nations Theatre, in collaboration with the National Gallery Prague and the Department of Art Education at the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague. Choreographer Nela \u0160tarkov\u00e1 and actress Vikt\u00f3ria Pejkov\u00e1 participated in the connection of visual and performing arts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the guidance of multimedia artist and teacher Jan Pfeiffer, the students artistically processed specific personal stories of witnesses who survived the Nazi persecution of the Jewish population in Prague. <\/span>The building of the National Gallery itself, where the production will be staged on 27 and 28 January 2024 at 7 pm, is directly related to the commemoration of these events. The Nazis used the immediate surroundings of the Trade Fair Palace as a gathering place for their Prague victims just before their deportation to concentration camps.<\/span>

\nDuring the performance, the audience will move through the space, and only a limited number of seats will be available.<\/span><\/p>\n
