Summer Theatre Workshops: Become Part of the Story<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

What happens when a group of young people comes together to explore <\/span>real-life stories from the 20th century<\/strong> <\/span>and collectively <\/span>creates their own theatrical performance<\/strong>?<\/span> We\u2019ll find out this year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Memory of Nations Theatre invites all artists<\/span> aged 11\u201319 to summer theatre workshops<\/strong><\/span> in the form of <\/span>a day camp<\/span><\/strong>. The theme is the moment of decision\u2014that instant when a person must choose <\/span>a course of action that could irreversibly change their life<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Five intensive days will be filled with <\/span>drama games, visits to significant sites, and work with authentic stories from eyewitnesses<\/span>. From all of this, a script and a <\/span>final performance will be created<\/span>, which the artists will present on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

What will participants take away from the workshops? <\/span>New friends and the experience of<\/span> creating a production from the initial idea to the stage. They will learn to work with authentic <\/span>stories, movement, and words,<\/span> and discover that history is not an abstraction but <\/span>the living destinies of people<\/span>who made decisions just like they do.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
