The Memory of Nations Theatre Studios are extracurricular theatre clubs for children, teenagers, and adults. Inspired by stories from the 20th century, participants write, rehearse, and perform plays based on these stories.

Theatre Studios

If you are passionate about the 20th century and you love theatre, if you want to develop your creativity and boost your confidence, become part of the stories and join one of our Theatre Studios! We offer regular sessions all over the Czech Republic under the guidance of experienced drama teachers. We want to hear your perspective on the world - come and share your opinions and explore the connections between the Past and the Present.

You are welcome to join at any time during the year. Our studios are grouped by age, and people of all ages are welcome.

2 semesters / 30 lessons of 90 minutes / 1 premiere

    • merged groups from Dlouhá and Petřiny
  • Prague 8, ages 12–19 – Wednesday 16:30–18:00, Theatre pod Palmovkou, free course, lecturer Jitka Míčková
    • collaboration with Krajinou přílivu, producing a performance as part of the "We Are Memory" series
  • Prague 1, ages 15–26 – Wednesday 16:30–18:00, Small Stage of the ABC Theater, 3 000 CZK / semester
  • Prague 3, ages 7–12 – in preparation
  • Prague 5, ages 12–99+, intergenerational – in preparation
  • Brno, ages 13–18 – Wednesday 16:00–18:00, Aldente Theater Creative Center, 2 200 CZK / semester, lecturers Marie Hótová and Dominika Grešová
