In the upcoming 2023/2024 school year, we are opening the Theater Studio in Liberec for a second year. The creative drama-educational workshop is intended for second graders and high school students, which will again be full of adventurous discovery and creation under the leadership of our experienced drama teacher Nina Doubková. Through the creative interpretation of the personal stories of the witnesses, we will strive for a deeper understanding of the history of the 20th century.
The goal of the two-semester course is not only to develop and support creativity, but also the ability to clearly formulate one's own opinions. This year's general theme is roots, home, migration, and prejudice. In contrast to the previous year, when the topics alternated after the semester, we will now work with the framework theme “Where I come from, where I'm going” throughout the year.
Participants will thus have the opportunity to explore and develop the topic more deeply.
The theater studio Liberec also offers the possibility of meeting with the witnesses and semester site-specific performances.
The meetings will be held every Wednesday from 16:15 to 17:45at the Czech-German meeting center in Liberec – RuprechticeRuprechtická 254/119 – wider center of Liberec, well accessible by public transport). The maximum number of participants in the group is 15 people. Therefore, do not hesitate to fill out the application form as soon as possible.
Theater studios Liberec are held with the financial participation of the Liberec region and SM Liberec.
