The National Gallery Prague in cooperation with the Memory of Nations Theatre is opening a new Memory of Nations theatre studio in the summer semester of 2024. The lecturer will be Barbora Černochová, who has previously performed Věra Jirousová's remarkable stage composition Tweety. This is a unique collaboration aimed at high school students, and its participants will have a unique opportunity to delve deeper into visual arts in addition to dramatic art and contemporary history. Come and get a completely exclusive opportunity to develop your talent, critical thinking, and understanding of 20th century history in the context of today.
The Trade Fair Palace and the newly opened exhibition 1938–2021: The End of the Black and White Era will offer students a unique opportunity to connect the elements of theatre education with visual arts and the “images of history” from the second half of the 20th century.
Meetings will take place once a week for 1.5 hours.
