The international theater education project "Over the Fence" in collaboration with the theater group Das Letzte Kleinod, took place in two phases.
The first part was held in Prague. Participants created materials through independently conducted interviews, from which a performance inspired by the events of 1989 emerged. Young artists gained valuable experiences, discovered a new city, and formed friendships.
They met again in Stützerbach, where the second part of the project took place. It was concluded with a final performance in the city of Hof, where, on October 1, 1989, the first train from Prague arrived. The professional theater performance was composed of individual meetings between Czech and German children that took place in Prague and Saxony.
We thank all the young actors involved, as well as the experienced teachers who participated in this educational theater project. We look forward to further collaboration!
