We have completed all three rounds of this year's Summer Theatre Workshops for Children and Youth. They focused on the theme "The Will to Change the World" and were inspired by the story of Nicholas Winton and his mission to save Jewish children from World War II.
Under the guidance of our lecturers, the young theatre artists created three performances in which they worked unconventionally with space, some moving among the audience or creating living sculptures that transformed into enlivened characters. The participants became tight and creative teams, and their last days were not without great emotion and many hugs. The participants, the audience, and even us from the Memory of Nations Theatre left with a stronger Will to Change the World.
We received beautiful reactions from the parents:
"My son was absolutely thrilled."
"Thank you once again for a great theatre workshop! My son really enjoyed his time with you."
"Thank you for a great camp, my daughter was really excited."
"Thank you so much for the opportunity to attend your camp. My daughter was happy and enjoyed it very much."
Thank you for spending our summer days together and we look forward to the next time!
