Looking for a creative program for the fall break? Sign up for our theatre workshop, which we are organising in cooperation with Akademie Vitae.
Led by experienced lecturers, participants will explore history using stories from the Memory of Nation collection. They will work through the story of Nicholas Winton and the children he saved from the Nazis in theatrical exercises that will become stage etudes. These will then be performed in a short final performance for family and friends on Wednesday afternoon. The camp fee includes lunch and two snacks.

The children will be guided through the workshop by:
Dominika Mithofer is a lecturer and methodologist of the Memory of Nation experiential workshops, in the past she was also a lecturer of the theatre studio in Prague 4. She has a background in educational drama from DAMU and aesthetic education from MUNI and is a teacher in the literary-dramatic field at the ZUŠ (Elementary Art School) in Louny. She also participates in the educational programmes of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and FOK and is the director of the HABROVKA Music Theatre Festival. She is an author in the musical project DOTmy.
Barbora Černochová is a lecturer at the theatre studio in Prague 7. She studied Educational Drama at DAMU and leads the literary-dramatic department at ZUŠ Klecany. As an actress, she performs at the Minor Theatre and at Studio Damúza. She is also a co-author of performances for the little ones at Na Kárce Theater.
