Our story is fictional, the way we tell it never happened, but it could have. Every detail of it has been traced and documented. Many of our stories are based on the accounts of two witnesses in particular: Mrs. Ingrid Petřík and Mr. Hans Lau. We found other stories in the State District Archives in documents of displaced border residents, in the period press, in contemporary poetry and, last but not least, in death books.
